Sheri M. Hupfer: Witch, wild crafter & medicine maker of the wearable

"As the maiden of The Alchemy of Artemis, Through the collecting of bone, petal, root, metal and leather she offers much of her medicine in the form of adornment. She believes that in a time when much of our plant medicine is being misused, clear cut or over harvested, the creation of amulets and talisman, flower & gem essences and the use of drop doses can serve to support the sustainability of our plant allies and the medicine they offer."

After 4 years of being a wanderer and traveling from place to place as a nomadic herbalist, dreamer, medicine maker and wild crafter, I have decided to slow down. To shift from my days of being an epiphyte and to find stillness in order to again grow roots of my own.  Although the road will remain open and it will continue to call me from time to time, for now, I  seek the nourishment within. To steep in all that I have gathered and to piece each lesson stone together filling the gaps with the mortar that only comes from a place of true stillness.   As my journey inward continues along with the endless study & cultivation of relationships within human and plant communities, I am finally ready to begin to share not only my story but all that I carry, create & offer in service.

Grace, my short school bus. She Continues to change each year much like me. Everything changes with the wind, all things finding their right place again within such a tiny space.

Do i Have your permission Datura? To gather your seeds and petals, to lie atop them and dream the longest dream. The dream one never wakes from?
